Yarden is my best friend from high school and my muse. Since we were thirteen, we’ve draped sheets across sofas, adorned ourselves with fabric and jewelry, experimented with makeup, and transformed her Upper West Side living room into our own editorial studio.
Though she has since moved, that apartment remains the birthplace of my creative direction—a space where our imaginations thrived, and our vision took shape. This summer I was lucky enough to get to live in this apartment with her before the move. This work serves as a reminder to reconnect to the playful and whimsical, to embrace resourcefulness, and to never get bogged down by material limitations.
